With high tech gaming applications available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, gaming has already become very popular with these new devices. However, with the larger tablet on the market, it could take portable gaming to an entirely new level!

The tablet , because of the larger screen (most likely 10 inches diagonally) & other features could inspire developers to create new twists on apps, like games 2 or more people can easily play at once on the same device.

“More memory & new features will encourage the development of more sophisticated apps of higher quality, which will push up the price tag,” said Marc Strohlein, an analyst at Outsell.

Upgraded OS :

The tablet will run an upgraded version of the iPhone’s OS, possibly running older apps in a small window on the screen.

Apple may also want the tablet to run some business oriented apps to grab a bigger market share!;-)

Whatever is to come with this new tablet, Apple is definitely on the turning edge of technology and is sure to surprise everyone from casual gamers to avid readers.
