The Indian selectors have announced the Indian cricket team for the upcoming ICC World T20 Cricket championship in West Indies in May.
There are no major surprises apart from the exclusions of Pragyan Ojha, Amit Mishra, Manish Pandey, Virat Kohli and Robin Uthappa – all of them showing great form in the ongoing IPL.
The selectors have also gone ahead with the injured players, trusting them to get fit by the time the tournament gets under way. MS Dhoni is one of the players but he played in the previous IPL match and should be fit, whereas the other two are the Delhi Daredevils duo of Ashish Nehra and Gautam Gambhir. Nehra has yet to play in the tournament, whereas Gambhir has been out for four games.
Full Squad
