On Thursday, the 15th of april the offices of the Indian Premier League(IPL) were visited by the income tax officials and Mr Lalit Modi has declined any allegation regarding having a stake in the ipl teams.

“I have no hidden income. I pay to be at the IPL and not take a cut from it. My private businesses are doing well,” he said on being asked about paying Rs 8 crore advance tax.

“We designed IPL to take on soaps. Apart from sports, it is all about glamour, glitz and Bollywood. We want to be number one in the world,” Modi said.

Modi also denied any link ups with model Gabriella Demetriades
