iPhone 4: 3 million sold, 51,000 returned

In the ongoing iPhone 4 press conference by Apple, Steve Jobs has revealed that Apple have sold 3 million iPhone 4s till now, double than what they sold in the first week itself.

  • 1.7 million in first week
  • 3 million total in three weeks

Jobs also went on to add that the number of phones returned as compared to the 3GS is in the ratio 1.7:6.

1.7% of 3 million works out to be 51,000 phones – the number of iPhone 4s which have been returned to Apple.
